As ludicrously offensive as that sounds, is Netanyahu and his historically right wing government, so far gone, it will be impossible for Israels backers in the West to maintain their position and with hundreds of thousands of left leaning Israelis protesting in the streets, the potential for cross-over between the concerns of Israelis over Netanyahu's Neo-fascit government and those of the Palestinian cause could well become more aligned.

Syria: American Bombs And Hypocrisy

Whilst America screams to whole world about the sanctity of Ukranian sovereignty and freedom from foreign military war - they wage military war from American military bases in Syria. This hypocrisy is clear to the whole non-Western world and confirms to type. Why is the American military in Syria? Were they invited? No, are they at war? No, did they go their to overthrow the Syrian government? Yes. None of this is ANY different to what Russia is accused of in Ukraine.

Actual cis woman feminists talking from a feminist perspective and recently, they nearly always are last to be heard from on their own issue. And feminism is their issue, it belongs to cis women before anyone else, just like trans issues, politics, stories, identity and self definition belongs to trans people first, so does feminism to cis-women. We are in a dangerous position of not hearing from the world's largest oppressed and marginalized group, letting bad faith actors speak for them and making the debate so violently toxic, we shove people in the room with actual Nazis who have no business being there.

After brokering a situation the USA seemed far more comfortable with being war like between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, they are back with another non-militaristic peace deal between Ukraine and Russia. Just as the dust was settling on ex prime minister, Scott Morrison's idiotic attack on China, current PM Anthony Albanese has agreed to that fools submarine deal! Well I guess we now know why the Sydney Morning Herald ran all those war with China pieces last week... Ignoring the eye-bleeding $350 billion cost of getting submarines we will never use in twenty years time, it weds us to American military might for the next three decades, specifically aimed at China, when that looks like a very bad bet. Prepare for the argument to be made that Australia should house nuclear weapons in a year or two.

China: The Decline And Fall Of Western Civilization

The West has dominated the world politically, militarily and economically for a very long time - the Anglo-sphere for centuries, from Great Britain to the USA. The predictions as to when this would fall have been rife this century, with the economic rise of China - maybe we just passed that tipping point. The biggest story (virtually ignored by Western media) has been China brokering a peace deal between mortal enemies Saudi Arabia and Iran - without a shot being fired. Meanwhile America is doubling down on its big fist military version of influence by creating a reverse iron-curtain in Europe. The difference is stark. With neoliberal economics destroying the consumer base of the West , we don't even have that left - the age of the West is over, the time of the BRIC has come.
