Poor, poor NIgel Farage thought he had it all covered in his attempts to avoid corruption scrutiny, and then the biggest own goal in UK political history. Two massive reasons why he will lose to the public's galvanised hero.
Because he's the hero Clacton deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A massive bin.

I love calling election results a long way out and have a strong track record of getting it right, this one though is a very risky pick, as all prevailing wisdom says Labor will lose in November. They've been in power too long, have lost an iconic leader and the press have trashed them for years. Here's why I'm still picking them for an unlikely win.

FIFA has tried for years to ruin football by monetising every last thing they can, but material changes to Football are unacceptable. The much derided "hydration" TV advert breaks split the two half game into four quarters. Now we are getting into important games - this will have an unprecedented impact on play.

He isn't knee-jerk, doesn't chase the 24hr news cycle, isn't afraid of his own shadow, always plays the long game, has superb timing and lets the world catch up to him. I have faith he is waiting to destroy AUKUS at the right moment.

The world's least cool and most cringe inducing man, Elon Musk, is brilliant at selling shares in companies that struggle to make profits. Even compared to Tesla, SpaceX is a doozy worthy of a monorail salesman. Never made a profit, loses billions, never going to make a profit, but worth a trillion dollars. For some reason.

For Gods Sake Ignore Opinion Polls
May 27, 2026

Ignore every opinion poll not three months out from an election and you will instantly know more about politics or who will win the next election. Opinion pollsters are businesses that cannot say the poll is the same for three years straight, no one would buy it, they have to provide intrigue every day and suit clickable narratives, like a right wing populist is surging in the polls etc. Same for news media who are additionally more likely to pay for polls that suit their agenda, and mid term polls are only ever against the incumbent government anyway. IGNORE THEM.
