The Australian government's attempts to Murdoch and Channel 9's bidding, with their gob-smacking Media Bargaining Bill comes to a shocking head as Facebook literally block all news sites from Australia. What the Aussie media wont tell you about how contentious the bill was or why it was terrible legislation in the first place and why I stand with Facebook. Which by the way, has become a lovely blissful paradise without the news!
